The short version
PomoSauna is a timer, not a service. It has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours behind it. Your presets and settings stay on your iPhone. The one thing the app sends anywhere is what selling PomoSauna Premium needs, described below.
Data the app does not collect
Presets, sound and colour choices, the running timer and your background photo are stored locally, in the app’s own storage on your device. We have no access to them. The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting of ours, and it keeps no history of your sessions.
Notifications and the Live Activity
The chime at each phase change is a local notification: the app schedules it on your iPhone, and iOS delivers it there. The Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is drawn on the device too. Neither goes through a server.
Your photo
If you choose a photo of your own as the background (a Premium feature), it is picked with Apple’s system photo picker, which runs outside the app and hands over only the photo you select — so the app never asks for access to your library. The photo is copied into the app’s storage on your device and goes nowhere else.
PomoSauna Premium
Premium is sold by Apple as an in-app purchase, under your Apple Account; we never see your payment details. To know whether Premium is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. It receives two things from the app: the App Store purchase receipt, and an anonymous identifier the app makes up for the installation — no name, no email, no Apple Account. RevenueCat keeps that purchase history to answer one question, whether Premium is active, and for nothing else. It is not linked to you as a person and is not used for tracking or advertising. This website
pomosauna.app uses Vercel Analytics to count page visits in aggregate. It sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across sites.
Children
PomoSauna collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
